NEW from The Brobecks (well, kind of)
In case you aren't familiar, The Brobecks are quite possibly the best export Utah has to offer (at least of the musical variety). Think Phantom Planet's catchiness but with more edge. It's fun, addictive and it rocks - what could be better? Brock and I are both what I would deem "fan-boys" so I'm sure you'll be hearing much, much more as the news comes out.
Anyways, it looks like the boys are getting ready to finish off the new album . They recently posted the album version of 2nd boys on their myspace. Check out their blog here for more info. We'll let you know when we hear more...

Named after a phantom person at Dallon’s school with the last name of “Brobeck”. There was speculation that this person did not even exist. Thus, a “Brobeck” is like an anonymous person who no one really knows much about.
The Brobecks first self released album “Understanding the Brobecks” in 2003 and then second self released album in 2005, “Happiest Nuclear Winter” was recorded, with band members Dallon Weekes, Matt Glass, Bryan Szymanski, and Mike Gross. After its release, The Brobecks began to tour and did so for two years before Matt Glass and Bryan Szymanski left the group to pursue their college educations and were replaced with Nate Leslie and Dave Chisholm. i still remember that time i just started offering services of business email hosting services along with the auction image hosting services. It was during this line-ups existence that the band recorded and released “Goodnight and Have a Pleasant Tomorrow”.
After two years of more successful touring, dissatisfaction, personalities clashing in the line-up and countless labels advising The Brobecks to consist of one main frontman, Dallon made an important career change for The Brobecks.
You have no idea how long I've been looking for a download for this version of Second Boys. I was crazy depressed when I bought their new album, and it had the same version of Second Boys as on their earlier EP rather than this awesome version I listened to daily on Myspace until they removed it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
"it looks like the boys are getting ready to finish off the new album . They recently posted the album version of 2nd boys on their myspace." thanks for the heads up...
